Hello, this is Chonnam National University Student life Counseling Center.

International students can register for individual psychological counseling sessions via our website(https://counsel.jnu.ac.kr) or by e-mail(jnucounsel@gmail.com). Counseling sessions are held in English and conducted online.

상담은 영어로 진행되며 온라인으로 제공하고 있습니다.

◉ Steps to Apply for Online Psychological Counseling

1:1 심리상담(비대면) 신청 절차

① Access our website (https://counsel.jnu.ac.kr).

학생생활상담센터 홈페이지(https://counsel.jnu.ac.kr) 접속

② Click the pop-up for [Psychological Counseling for International Students Application].

③ Download the [Psychological Counseling Intake Form and Personal Information Collection Consent Form].

심리상담신청서 및 개인정보 수집이용 동의서 다운로드

④ Complete both forms.

심리상담신청서 및 개인정보 수집이용 동의서 작성

⑤ Send the completed forms via email((jnucounsel@gmail.com).

작성된 심리상담신청 및 개인정보 수집이용 동의서 이메일(jnucounsel@gmail.com) 발송

⑥ A counselor will be assigned to you.

상담사 배정

⑦ Attend the scheduled online counseling sessions.

심리상담 진행

⑧ Attend the final counseling session and complete the satisfaction survey.

◉ Guide to Online Psychological Counseling

1:1 심리상담 안내사항

If you are a current undergraduate or graduate student, you are eligible for psychological counseling.

재학생일 경우, 학부생 및 대학원생 모두 심리상담 가능합니다.

Counseling services may be limited for students on a leave of absence or those who have deferred graduation.

졸업 유예 및 휴학생의 경우, 상담 서비스가 제한될 수 있습니다.

If there are many applicants, a counselor will be assigned based on application order and the urgency of each case.
상담 신청자가 많을 경우, 신청한 순서와 심리적 위기 개입이 필요한 정도에 따라 상담사가 배정될 예정입니다.

Counseling can only be requested once per semester. After the counseling is concluded, you may apply again in the following semester.

상담 신청은 한 학기에 한번만 신청 가능합니다. 상담종결시 그 다음 학기에 신청할 수 있습니다.
